| Research: Sources for many of the recent stories have been the invaluable Palo Alto Weekly and Palo Alto Daily News. For many older stories, I have used the archives of the San Mateo Times as found on Newspaperarchive.com and of course, the Palo Alto paper of record, the Palo Alto Times. Thank you to these wonderful papers for putting a wealth of information online. Photographs: Many of the older photographs come from the archive of the Palo Alto Historical Association.
